I wonder if Sean Penn, Danny Glover will attend his funeral?

CARACAS, Venezuela – Some in anguish, some in fear, Venezuelans raced for home on Tuesday after the government announced the death of President Hugo Chavez, the firebrand socialist who led the nation for 14 years.

Vice President Nicolas Maduro's voice broke and tears ran down his face as he appeared on national television to announce that Chavez died at 4:25 p.m. local time 3:55 p.m EST "after battling hard against an illness over nearly two years."

Wonder whats going to happen to the government. Is 7 cent gasoline (or whatever the price) going to continue down there? Will they begin to cooperate with foreign companies?

The only problem with Chavez being gone is that sometimes the devil you don't know is worse than the devil you know. We gathered a LOT of intelligence on Chavez and now you can throw it all away and start over. Oh well, that's life in the big city.

Hopefully, we gathered some info on his successor, the VP, who has been running the country now for a few months; while Hugo was getting free healthcare in Cuba.

Apparently, the Venezuelans are blaming the US for his death. Everything from "you gave him cancer" to "you poisoned him". They also expelled two of our people from our embassy in Venezuela, allegedly for espionage.
