I've always felt the FJ40 was GM's answer to Jeep... but then again, when you change the motor, transmission, transfer case, drive shafts, suspension, and axles... is it really still a Jeep? or is that just a generic term for a removeable top 4x4?

Give it a few more years or sooner. The Rubicon is the in thing to drive. 95% of them sold, will never see a dirt road. Starting to see a lot of them in the used car lot. I remember when the in thing to drive was a IROC Z. They couldn't make them fast enough, then something else came along. The used car lots were full of them. I tell my 16 year old son that you will be able to buy one 50 cents on the dollar in a few short years.
