fun halloween idea

[High Five H2]

At my church they do a trunk or treat type deal for the kids and I was thinking about making my H3 into a giant spider and dressing up as a fly with spiderwebs and stuff like that. That seems like it would be fun. I figure I'll make some spider fangs and hang them from the hood and put some eyes behind the windshield, but i can't figure out how to make 8 legs. I thought it would look cool to have legs that come up from the tops of the doors and then come down to the ground (you know, like a spider...). Any idea? I'm thinking about screwing together 3 lengths of cheap wood and then just sticking one end through the window.

Anyone thinking about doing something similar?

Pool noodles, spray painted black. Should be on sale at this point.

my co-worker recommended pipe insulators. they're black already, but i'll just go buy whatever is cheaper. that and i'll get some styrofoam balls, but them in half, hollow them out, put some holes in them, and put them over my roof mounted off road lights. I'll put some red tail light tape over those and have glowing red eyes.

I just remembered that I got that bear coat from workaholics for my birthday. maybe I could dress up the cargo area like a cave and wear it.
