Well, once I get my life back on track, I will start leading runs again in SoCal. I had too much drama happen last year. Probably still going to be around April before I can get Bessie ready to run trails again.

This thread has turned out to be pretty enjoyable. Fantastic sarcasm and some good points deeper within some posts.

As for "flaming" on newbies, this has always been a no *******s allowed forum and ALL of you have been terrific at treating your Hummer owning friends, and the future Hummer owners, with respect. Thank you for that.

Not sure if this thread was focused at me or not, but either way here are some offroad pics for my mall crawler

I don't take pics often when im wheeling because i'm too busy wheeling. As for the light bars, you're danm right they come in handy when someone calls you at one in the morning that their truck is stuck and your h3 is the only one that can get them out. I see my truck as an offroader, a daily driver, and a show truck. I want for it to be the best of all worlds, and I think i've made a truck that looks like no other and I enjoy that.

Woodtick, the majority of the threads you have started have had nothing to do with wheeling, and that is perfectly fine. Although this forum is dedicated to offroading that is not its only purpose. I see it as a place to learn, get others opinions, share ideas, and help one another. Not a place to judge ones mods and correlate those mods to the size of ones "pee pee".

Please read the last sentence of the OP. It was not a slam on anyone's rig. I wanted to see more action shots. Thanks Darion for the Pics. This is what I was talking about. I will also try to step up to the plate and post more off road pics. I also have led's on the front of my 3 . The pee pee joke in regards to the projectors has been floating around the inter web for over a year. You go buy what ever floats your boat with your hard earned money. Your truck, your money, have fun with it. I posted some pics in Stories from the trail. Feel free to one up me. I didn't put my thong on backwards today.

Bad news: I also got HID's to retrofit. Sorry!

I also got beadlocks, though, so there's that.

This has been the most helpful and friendly off-road forum that I've been on, and I've been on quite a few. I think the members here are more mature and knowledgeable by far, and there's a lot less arguing and off-topic threads (except for that ice cream one, what the heck guys??). I guess the other alternative is Pirate, but unless you're building a rig from the ground up with junkyard parts on refuse to spend money, then you're a noob and you should kill yourself (their words, not mine, paraphrased).

Also, What's CJP?

Let me get this straight... someone is whining about no off-road pictures when he isn't posting off-road pictures? Perhaps the OP should go back out to polishing his chrome in the mall parking lot... it is looking a bit dingy from here.

Tell you what, though, you want the number one dis-incentive for me to post pictures of wheeling is to pull a B***Pirate level whine about how terrible it is that there are no pictures. Going wheeling on the 16th... will forget my camera. After all, I'm totally responsible for the how-to on installing a light bar.... wouldn't want the whiner to think he won.

I'm not going to dip my toe into the drama portion of this thread, but I will say that I agree with whoever mentioned that they enjoy seeing the trail reports, pics, etc. I always enjoyed those and it seems as though they have all but disappeared.

Remember that all those pics and reports are created by your fellow members. The off road fairy doesn't make them just appear.

This has been my drive for many years to organize and lead many of the SoCal trips. It does take a lot of effort though. My main goal when organizing a run is safety. I make it my personal commitment to not only make sure every one comes off the trail safely, but is also having fun.

Heres a report I just did from this weekend. We all gotta get out there and wheel! This run was last minute and small but its still a run with pictures, I apologize to those who want less talking. I usually have a story with each pic. Anyways, enjoy

Meh, it's winter. I don't wheel, or really even think about wheeling, this time of year. Come spring I'll start thinking about it again, watch for local wheeling trip threads, look for new places to camp (since I recently relocated from UT to OR), etc.

I had rockstars for a while, and have angry eyes, and a light bar.. I hope im not in the same category as a mall crawler lol believe me. if I could, I would take my across country and wheel all the time. Too bad I cant drive out of state on a provisional liscense, and the only wheeling in NJ are a bunch of sand pits hours away with nothing but jeeps all over ripping through 2 foot deep puddles with 40s and snorkels. Yes I plan to wheel my car when I go off to college, but right now, I wouldnt mind slowly adding parts and accessories ill need in the future when these things are an option. and getting help from the most bada$$ h3 rigs around is the best way to grow in my opinion, to one day become one as well

My primary camera is in the shop.

I found when I quit trying to get a shot of every obstacle of everybody else I was not near as tired at the end of a run.
