Ed's06h3 hummer build

I figured i might as well start a build thread. I have an 06 H3 black. I got it from a nissan dealer 3 years ago she had 26,000 miles on her and now she has 37,000 miles ( don't drive her much she's not my DD )


She was chromed out in the beginning: chrome side mirrors, grille, door handles, hood handles, etc.......

I started getting into hummers, a buddy of mine introduce me to this forum and i started learning more & more about hummers

My 1st mod i got rid off Bridgestone duelers and picked up a set of Goodyear Duratracs (33")

( I will get a set of the 35" duratracs when these set wear out )


I wanted a little bit more power so i picked up a Air-Doc intake

GM performance (touring) dual exhaust with chrome tips

navigation system

Replaced the chrome fuel door with the Defender Worx (black) fuel door

Then i replaced the oem tail lights with the LED tail lights and also a pair of tail light guards (black)

Finally got rid off the chrome grille and was lucky enough to pick up a black grille off craiglist for $100:woot:

I removed all the chrome again i was lucky the previous owner installed chrome covers on the side mirrors, door handles, and antenna base. I plastidip the chrome hood handles & center caps (will do entire wheels in the future

The switch mounting a location looks clean i will be doing the same if i add more switches.
