Do you keep a Gun in your H ?

Just curious if it's worth stowing a Gun in the Hummer for personal protection.

Thanks

Ray, based on your history of indecisiveness, you should no way, no how ever be in possession of a firearm in your vehicle, because if you ever have to use it, you won't know what to do.

agree....not a wise decision...I'm still trying to get over of those burglars that broke into my H3 and took my weapons.

Torres,
You're right. That's all that was left after my infamous near-death hunting/fishing trip with Recon a few years ago where we both lost most our guns at sea but here's an old pic of my "bunker" taken before that fishing trip. It just makes me appreciate my .22 and 9 mm even more.

On hip, not stashed in my vehicle. The only exception is if I go someplace like a post office, then it gets stashed only for the amount of time I'm inside.

Can you actually own a firearm while eating crayons? Just saying Ray. And all of your posts are way off kilter. Are you actually real or a troll. You ask the same questions repeatedly in different forums numerous times, time after time. Patiently waiting for your response. I know it's coming, just make sure it's worthwhile.

I used to keep my 1911 in my truck but was always worried about someone breaking in and taking that along with whatever else. I no longer keep it in there. If we go on a road trip or to a shady part of town I'll take it with me.

Always asked the students, would you prefer to be shot in the foot with a .45 or in the head with a .22. Actually had one say the .45 once.

Ask first: Is it legal (YES)? Do you have the training to use it if needed (oh YEA)? Can you keep your cool in stressful situations (YES)? Do you live in a high crime area (NO)?

I don't believe the last question is really valid. Crimes are committed in all areas....And in regard to where you live, in some metro areas, the best neighborhoods are the ones being targeted by criminals since that is where the good stuff is located.:giggle:

But in answer to the OP, no I do not keep a gun in my H3 or my Silverado, but I do keep it on my right side.

Good point; maybe it should be, have you had instances when you feared for your personal safety? One other thing to consider Ray, its a huge responsibility to carry a firearm in your car or on your person. You be the judge on carrying or not.

I'm in the process of designing a holster specific for the H3. Also a quick release type bracket for my long guns too. When I'm done I'll post it. Very simple to make and use.
