Do we wave to each other?

Do hummer owners wave to eachother? Around here im the only h3 that isnt bone stock, but everytime i pass another hummer i wave and nobody ever waves back. Am i the only one that does this, or is everyone around here just an a$$hole? Do yall wave to other hummer drivers? Just curious :ciao:

I have never received a wave from anyone other than the kid in the back seat at a stop light. I will wave to a modded H3, but never to one thats stock. Its not like the motorcycle community where i get waves from anyone on two wheels.

I usually wave If the truck looks modded or has signs of it has been wheeled...and these guys usually wave back.

theres only 3 h3's in my area so i wave to them all the time, but no modded hummers around here except a lifted h2 on 37s but it never see's dirt

Edit: Somebody from the forums needs to move around here or astleast someone that has an h3 and offroads

Hummer's don't wave. Not sure why, but I never get a wave back, so I quit trying. I always thought the Corvette community were the waving champions until I bought a Jeep. The Jeep community takes it hands down. Some of those guys will practically jump through the roof to make sure you see them wave.

Thats true! Ive been going wheeling with Jeeps and I see how they wave to completely unknown people when on the way to where we wheel or on the way back, and they get waved at. Sometimes they even join the convoy and give us company on the way back from a trip!

I always wave...usually I get waves from other jeeps,FJ's and lifted trucks...most hummers I wave to done wave back...I will always wave to other hummers regardless if they wave back...

Agreed.. Most modified hummer owners will wave back, not so much with the grocery getters which is fine by me....

Must be a regional thing. Never had a Jeep driver wave to me when I was driving one of my many Jeeps. However, when driving my '81 Corvette I have gotten many waves - mainly from drivers of older Corvettes.

When I was a Jeeper any Jeep that was modded would usually wave if the driver saw me, soccer moms not so much..

i wave and get a lot of waves back when in the 1, i get less wave backs when in the 3 and have been flipped off about a half dozen times in the 3, four or five of those were while i still lived in Cali. no birdies in the 1 yet:wink:

i used to wave all the time to hummer owners as long as they looked like they wheeled! most wave back! one time chris (06h3) and i sat in the parking lot talking to this guy with his h3 that was bone stock other than 33s and black rims. we told him to join up on here but i dont think he ever did.

Used to wave but here in So Cal most don't get it. Outside the city, yes and get more waves. I get more waves from non Hummers. A few fingers but oh well. Actually got a wave from a guy Friday with a lifted Tahoe that looked like it had a Gobi ranger rack on it. Of course, waved back.

Although, I've waved to members I know here and no wave back. Just because you see them, doesn't mean that they saw you too. So, don't take it wrong if they don't wave back.

I've only seen one lifted and heavily modded 2 in my entire area. Almost all the others are full of Ebay chrome and have "Supercharged" stickers all over the hood LOL. I've had 1 wave and 1 other guy flash high lights at me during the day.

When I had my 06 GTO if you saw another goat you waved no matter what. The GTO community is so tight knit that it's disrespectful not to wave.

Here too. Not many wave back and I try to wave. Most are all stock and passin through from Co. Springs to go skiin or campin. I do get alot of double takes and stares. Not many other modded 3s up here or even look like mine. It seems I get more looks and stares when its dirty or muddy from wheelin, even from some modded jeeps. They might be sayin somethin else as they drive tho. Also, I think this is jeep country. Everyone and their mother, father, grandmother, grandfather and their freinds are drivin jeeps. They all look the same and even seein some funky colors now cause there so many here.

I'll keep wavin and I hope to see more Hummers wheelin or modded for wheelin...:thumbs:

As a Biker, I always wave at two wheels.Especially HD's I've waved at Hummers from my H3 but no one seems to wave back.. too bad, It's a great tradition.
