Differences between Deuce and Tahoe?

Hey guys, was looking through the H3 thread and came across one by RFG and he was asking about the differences between the 3 and a Colorado. it got me thinking and made me realize I'm told almost weekly that my girl is just a tahoe with a body kit.

I'm no grease monkey, nor do I really care what someone thinks of me (if that was the case I'd be driving a prius), but just for sh*ts and giggles, what are the unique features of an H2 that makes it superior to most vehicles?

I don't have an h2 but 4:1 T case and rear locker stock. tahoes with the z71 package only have a limited slip diff in the rear. Tahoes have what the 5.3 v8 the 2 has a 6.0 or 6.2

There a link that covers and talks about the h2 difference in the same thread of the h3 "some call my H3 a Colorado" or something like that.

That's an awesome write-up, I've never seen that on the Lynch site. I knew I'd seen info on how the air suspension works off road but couldn't figure out where I'd seen it. This article covers the questions I had about all of that.

H2's were made by AM General NOT General Motors as well. That is the biggest player in my book when it comes to the differences. When 2's are made by the same people as the military, that's pretty badass in my book!

The difference is how far you can get a Tahoe out into the wilderness. I'd love any Tahoe driver to attempt the places I've comfortably taken the deuce--stock for stock let's run 'em and we'll shake out the boys in a man's game.....
