Daystar dash panel

Anyone have the daystar dash panel installed in there h3. How's the fit. Any pics or comments appreciated. If it looks good and is solid thinking bout modifying one

In have one and they look like it came from the factory. Very solid and a two minute job to install

My thoughts were about the rear area with the large opening. Think it's possible to fit 3 switches in that area if I had a piece of aluminum cut to slightly recess in there. Understanding that wiring might have to run down through bottom but I can live with that cause I'll own this vehicle till death do we part.

The only complaint I have is that Daystar emblem covering the center slots. I may dremel that off so some things I have fit better in there. Molded into the back of the higher part recessed may have been ok. Advertising before function has always torqued me.
It does fit nice and looks like it belongs there. Other than in really hot weather I keep my dark glasses in a hard case in there but offroad it seems to empty the contents of smaller items! lol
I made a plate to fit the front area for my "oh sh@*t meter".

There have been a bunch of cool installations with switches in it, GPS mounts, radio mounts, etc. Enjoy your new purchase!

Daystar panel fits very well and doesn't move around. I used the front left opening to mount my cb mic bracket. It keeps the mic accessible and keeps the cord from being in the way of my leg.

I really utilize mine.. Helps for somewhere to put the phone and glasses and such.. Like Hunner's o'crap meter on his. 08 Solar Flare has one on his too I believe.. Well worth it. Tight fit and vents the defrost out also.
