GRAYSON COUNTY, Texas - Country singer Randy Travis is upping the ante when it comes to his recent legal woes.
Travis was arrested Tuesday night after troopers say they found him drunk and laying naked in a roadway. Investigators say he had driven his vehicle off the road and crashed into a number of construction barriers.
A spokesperson for the Texas Department of Public says Travis refused to take a breath test. He was taken into custody and charged with DWI.
TMZ reports Travis also faces an additional charge for allegedly threatening to shoot and kill state troopers involved in the case.
The 53-year-old Grammy winner was previously arrested in February for public drunkenness after police found him passed out inside his car in a church parking lot.
