coolant system?

So along with new brakes all around and new rear axle seals, I need to swap my t-stat as it appears to be stuck open. I've been meaning to flush the system as part of a full fluid change since I got the H3 almost 10,000mi ago but a complicated broken collar bone has put me down for a few months now. Transmission and coolant is all that's left. It's got 79,xxx miles so the plan is to do them all now cause I don't know what was ever done and when... Then do them all again as part of the 100,000mi service. Two questions... Can someone forward a link to me if there's been a write up done on the coolant flush? And does anyone happen to have the oem/ac delco part # for the thermostat?

I'm guessing by how you might've found the part on gmpartshouse.com. Let me know if you haven't.

I don't recall a coolant flush writeup but I know some have done the Prestone kit.

I got a bottle of coolant system flush. I didn't bother with the little kit of plastic elbows and connectors. I guess ill just drain by means of disconnecting the lower radiator hose. gotta "rinse" the flush stuff out with water a few times then start the filling process... found an ac delco t-stat online and referenced it with their parts catalog... ive heard mixed reviews about setting the temp dial to hot to get the heater core flushed as well...
