Coming soon - 2013 Calendar Contest!

[alrock]

We'll be starting a new series of voting contests for a 2013 HUMMER 4x4 Off Road calendar. Obviously there will be 12 winners and we'll do this over the coming months. Rules, etc. will be coming soon.

In the meantime please start preparing. Voting will be based on the pictures in your Garage and/or your Gallery. This is a contest about great HUMMER photos so put your best pics in the Gallery or Garage. Action shots, poser shots, group shots, any great shots of your HUMMER can be included.

So, if you want a chance to be a part of our 2013 calendar please start uploading your pics to your Garage or Gallery! And please start perusing the available Garages and Galleries for members to nominate. We'll post more details soon.

Maybe we should make it an 18month calendar and start it on July. This way we don't have to wait a full year.

:corn: great idea!

[HUMMER INVESTMENTS]

Great Idea! Will it be one person per month or can they have more than 1 photo? I was suprised to see that there where so many Moab pictures in the HML Calendar of some of the same trucks, sure they where kinda different, but I was hoping for diversity:thumbs:

[Bigunit]

It will be 1 member, 1 rig, 1 picture, 1 month out of 12 in the calendar. Otherwise, 3hummers might have all 12 of his rigs in the calendar and everyone else would be waiting for 2014! :giggle:

[JoshuaL]

Are we going to do one for each hummer 1's, 2's, and 3's or one calendar for all?

[alrock]

One calendar for all. It will have at least one each of H1, H2, H3/T

[Bigunit]

Yep, that about sums it up - one calendar, 12 different members, 12 different rigs, 12 different pics and at least 1 of each HUMMER model will be represented.

So, before we roll this out, get those pics posted in your gallery and/or garage as the members, not H4O staff, will be going though all those pics and will be nominating their favorite pics.

NICE! can't wait for this process to begin!

Wouldnt it be easier to have a picture thread that you can subscribe to and get updates when someone posts, otherwise I think it would kinda be a PITA for admins to check everyones gallerys every so on:huh:

[alrock]

Patience young Skywalker. Contest hasn't even started. Just asking people to get some pictures ready so we actually have something upon which we can base nominations

[HUMMER INVESTMENTS]

Just wondering, I was thinking for the admins that it might be a little easier for them to view when in a seperate thread other than many, many, many albums to go through that don't notify you when there is new pictures....................... Just my opinion though:thumbs:

[HUMMER INVESTMENTS]

Another question for me would be would you guys prefer HDR photos or just regularly shot photos? ( Sorry for so many questions! ) :gaah:
