Citrus WMA, Inverness Florida - September 2012

We are planning a night wheeling trip to the Citrus Wildlife Management Area for sometime in September. The run will be limited to numbered forest service roads, so there will not be anything too technical, it would be a great opportunity for some of our new members to experience some light wheeling, with the added affect of darkness. Lets get a list of who is interested and available dates. I setup a poll for us to vote on the open dates for september. My son turns 8 years old on the 1st of September, so this weekend, the weekend of the 15th, and the weekend of the 22nd, may not be good dates for me because we will be throwing him a birthday party on one of those days.

I voted for the 15th, but I am open any dates except the 1st. I will be there any day in Sept.

15th looks better for me also now. I just need a baby sitter, my wife will be out of town that weekend.

Yes, the entire family, minus the wife. She is flying out, my sister in law is having a baby. The older two wont mind a night trail ride, but I'm not sure the lil guy will do so well bouncing around and couped up in the truck at night.

Count me out, unless you plan to be out late. Earliest I could get out of work is 9pm which would put me up there around 10

Ok it looks like this weekend and next weekend are my best bets at pulling this off this month. The plan would be to get to Inverness right before dark and hit the forest and try to be out the forest by midnight.

Looks like the 15th is out for us..... Lets plan the 22 or 29th. Who has that Saturday evening open for some night wheeling???
