Wow what a dumbAZZ. Well it did not break in half and I have heard many Ford dealers are not covering a lot of claims on this trucks.

How much does a Raptor sticker for? I'm trying to calculate that out. 3 seconds of the most awesome footage of a truck flying for about $40K? Seriously though, when I see videos like that (there's another very similar of a guy destroying a brand new Silverado at Silver Lake), I wonder exactly what the thinking was leading up to the jump. Had to be along the lines of "Hey Y'all! Watch this!"

Well, the airbags worked.

I can hardly wait to hear the story he tells to his insurance company.

Remember that poser who was on one of the forums a couple of years ago telling his insurance company about his flooded H3?
He posted it on YouTube also.

Doug, I whole heartedly agree with the removal of all safety warnings.

Reminds me of visiting Iceland in '95 or '96... I took a tour out to the waterfalls. The guide was sure to tell us that they don't have safety chains or warning signs in Iceland. He went on to say that if we fell into the gorge, we would be gone and no one was coming to rescue us.

I thought that was a great policy. I got some really great photos because there were no danged chains or fences in the pictures!

We jumped my buddy's brand new Raptor 3 good times in the pursuit of some good video footage. The first two times were kinda lame as he didn't really get enough air under the tires to be video worthy, so I had him go one more time. Then the third time he got air--but we miscalculated the landing, which had a dip in it and launched the truck again just after it finished bottoming out.

So the jump went something like---launch, land, bottom out/dig the bumper in, hit a bump on recovering from bottoming out and then up again.
It was pretty fantastic. Glad it wasn't my truck!

I guess he had to many beers and thought it was a Trophy Truck instead of a Trophy wife...idiot.

I remember that guy... What a nimrod. Everyone was pretty hard on him, if memory serves - rightfully so!
