Battery questions ??!!!

Ok gonna keep it short, I been reading a lot about batteries options and set up some of you guys have.
Anyways I was inclining for a dual battery set up but i was also thinking about on getting just a big battery and call it the day.
Idk squad about batteries brands, amp and everything else... This are some of the option I see today.
Inclining for the big energizer one but Idk what you guys think. I plan on installing a which something this year so I'd need some juice. Might add some light as well but that still ify. Not big on light and all that.

Or if I go with a dual set up then it would be one of this ones, not sure which one.

And this one is another option.

I know there are plenty more brands and styles and I'm open for suggestions.

I think you can probably tape about 40 D cells together and get the same affect. Going with the bigger battery, that thing is about the same size as my stock battery. It won't fit in your current tray and it would move around. Someone had a had a setup for dual batteries, can't remember who? I know Alrock went with a dual set up and it was a 34 agm battery.

Man, I love Energizer batteries for all my small home electronics, I refuse to use another brand. But then I bought an Energizer battery for the family truckster and it had a relatively, disappointingly short life for what I expect out of a battery not subjected to abuse.
That said, I have a hard time recommending anything that didn't earn it's keep in my stable--but I am intrigued by the AGM battery and curious how it will serve under severe conditions. My only experience with AGM was my last dirtbike that I didn't want to keep putting a charger on in between riding (could be weeks or months). I went with a Shorai AGM and couldn't be happier.
Currently I'm running an O'Reilly 1000CCA battery in the deuce (the recommended battery wasn't available) and have been happy for the last eight months, we'll see how many years I can get out of it in the desert heat.
Basically this rant boils down to you're screwed for an opinion from me, buy a battery and it may or may not be good.

Cool thing with the AGM is it takes forever for them to drain from sitting around; they're also awesome for cranking the hell out of if needed without getting their feelings hurt. If you crank on them in cold weather, they actually like more cranks, it helps warm them up and makes them more stable. I've been waiting for an AGM battery worth a crap for using in an actual car, so I'm intrigued to see it as one of your options.

So basically I'm pretty geeked out to see you go with the Energizer AGM as a test mule to see what kind of results you get with it.
As for dual battery set-up, that depends on your electrical needs---are you using high draw electrical stuff that warrants the effort, time and expense to go that route? Alot of people install winches and additional lighting that in reality sees very little real world use once installed so of course if you're out running all your electrical stuff alot, of course dual batt. is the way to go.
If you're like me and use a winch occasionally and added lights randomly, you're probably fine on one battery set-up.

Always proffered INTERSTATE GREEN( black are refurbished) batteries. My OPTIMA yellow in trailer crapped out on first hook up after sitting ~1year. You want DEEP cycle (group 27 or 34) I pull 2 of the from my boat when I need it. But they are $$$$( ~$300 each) this is why I pull them from boat so I don't have to buy it. Group 27 and 34 there is not a lot of difference in A/H but big difference in$
Didn't know energizer makes car batteries.

Going with a bigger battery doesn't mean you are going to get all of the benifits of a dual battry setup.

Since you don't live in a cold area CCA's are less important for starting, but if you do get a winch you will want a deep cycle battery.

By going to a Dual battery setup you get the most benefit from having one battery as a dedicated starter battery, the other as the accessory battery and you will never be stranded ** in theory** from a dead battery.

Realistically do you see yourself setting up camp and running a bunch of electronics off of your 3? If not, I might reconsider doing the switch.
If you are wanting it for winching ability, I would consider doing what SBG did and put an Avalanche alternator on in place of the current one (Not sure if this only works on the Alpha) to gain more charging Amps for keeping the battery topped off while winching.

Has some good reviews and everyone seem to love them. Would this be something good, or is it too overkill.
Here are the things I plan on running.
- 9,000 or 12,000 lbs warn winch. (Main juice consumer when used)
-E-Lockers
-cb or ham radio and whatever equipment that requires.
-I'll be adding some lights maybe...but haven't decided yet. (I'm not too big on lights)
-being able to run and power some other electronic devices, laptops. Tablets, etc.
-lastly being able to run the sound system for longer than 40 min without worrying about the battery dying on me. (It has happened several time when I clean/wash my truck)

Overall I'd like a battery that can be push if need be, would it always be push...most likely know...but it would be nice to have the option. Price wise not too concerned as long as they live up to their price, etc.

I had 2 of them (PC2150s) in my Landcruiser 80, and I also put 2 of them (PC2150s) in my Dodge, along with custom made 00ga wiring. Great batteries... Never had any issue with them at all. My theory is buy once and be done on that kind of stuff.

They're gigantic and heavy, but definitely the best out there.

Never been a big loud music guy, but I can tell you that the batteries in the dodge would run my 10,000w power inverter which was powering my 90amp welder. LOL
They'd also run my Oasis 3000 air compressor, which drew somewhere around 200amps at full output.

I'm not loud music either guy, but id like to be able to bump some tunes...when out or so...without having to remind myself to start up the truck. But with does two examples that you gave me I'm sure I'd have no problem...thanks for your input.

Holy Schiznit! The only time I've seen that much cabling that large is on primary electrical feeders on the tall towers in the desert serving medium size towns! Impressive

I've got enough experience with electronics to know that if you listen to the radio (with any kind of amp) while cleaning you're car, you're going to wipe out an ordinary battery. Having a second, dedicated battery seems the logical (buy pricey) way to go. Me, I just quit playing the radio while the truck is off, and as I said, run a winch or lights occassionally, but not enough to warrant a dual battery set-up.

This comes up from time to time. Here is a flash from the past you might get some ideas from. I did not see it mentioned above but this setup still works.

I did add the inline switch so I can select which better to use. I usually run them both around town but go to one offroad.
Since these hold a charge so well having one off line has never been a problem for most offroad trips.

I just like having a spare if sometimers happens when camping and I leave something on.

FYI, I didn't go dual, I just went AGM. Group 34 fits in the H3 with modest trimming of the battery tray. I would've liked to get the Odyssey AGM (Or the DieHard, which is a rebadged Odyssey for that particular model) because it has dual posts. The side posts are great for a winch connection. I ended up going Delco and so far it's been a huge improvement over my last battery, a standard lead acid battery.

Thank you for your info the marine version of the odessy I'm going with has two connection the regular one and some with some bolt idk whether to go with the regular one or the marine version they both equally except one of marine and one is not idk if that makes much of a difference. As well what gauges cables are you guys running

Yeah I also read about sear warranty being useless and a pita. I'm just gonna go ahead and get them odyssey marina.
