Never done anything that big, but hell yeah! I loved the video from two years ago when they setup the arches in UT.

Closest I've been to that is a 100ish foot zipline I setup on a camping/climbing trip. Wasn't a typical zipline; the step-off was a 20 foot drop!

So, I should bring my climbing gear to Moab....? :wink: Only thing we would need is some ropes (mine are past lifespan for life-critical use).

Question is...two 70m ropes for a nice 200 foot swing, or one folded in half for something under 100 feet? :horns:




(Maybe once I have more time in Moab.... For now every day wheeling is precious)

The standard kernmantle climbing ropes are rated at 24+ kN (5400+ pounds) and have stretch built into them to absorb shock. I could use two of them and lift a Hummer off the ground. Rope breaking isn't an issue unless you abuse things.

So, wanna give it a try?
