this is from a few months ago:

That's me, an FJ, and 2 wranglers (surrounded by lifted diesel trucks that have never been off road)

and some progress!

10 lbs down, all lifts are up. I use a bioimpedance scale that says I'm down 3% body fat, but those things aren't very accurate and I like to think they underestimate BF% so maybe it's down more than 3%! here's to being hopeful. My short term goal is to lose another 10 lb so I'm at 170 and 15% BF in 2 months. Re-evaluations when that happens.

Big difference from before, great progress.

ok well here it goes. I am 5'6" and a little over 3 years ago I was about 175-180 single rep maxing, bench- 315, squat and dead lift 500. obviously I like leg day lol. but had some injuries not due to lifting and after 3 yrs knees injury and both ankles have surgery. I am now fluffy lol. I was up to almost 230lbs. I just started like this week lifting again last two months was just body weight movements and all I can say is I feel like a total beginner I honestly don't think I could put up 225 bench right now and never mind squatting 225 felt heavy still got pretty decent sets but I remember warming up with these weights. I have lost 30lbs was 200 about a month ago ad been holding there. de to this deployment I haven't been doing to much over the last t here weeks or so.

Now that I am in Bagram I have nothing but time. So I have 6 months to push weight gotta get back to running too. I am actually excited to do this and well being able to walk after the surgeries is nice too.

cool man, glad to have another lifter.

I was off and on the wagon for the past month, but I'm back at it. I might start lifting every day (3 day split, each day twice a week) and running at night. I kind of hit a weight loss wall at 180. I've been craving junk food and feeling lazy. Maybe my body just wants to not lose any more weight, I dunno. Anyone else have that happen?

I'm a crossfit guy.
If I wasn't as thin and wiry I would be in bodybuilding, but as it is I'm building my body from scratch. :)

Starting crossfit for the first time this weekend . I used to box before. Tried the gym and got bored quickly and wasted a ton of money on gym memberships.

I slacked off for about a month or 2, but I'm back on it. I didn't miss a day this week and I won't be walking up stairs anytime soon. I guess I'm sleeping in my hummer because I live on the 3rd story [emoji24]. My goal is to be down 20 lbs by March 15th and then set a new goal for my B day in June.

Good luck in competition derian. Don't forget to post up some pictures.

Went to the foundations classes over the weekend and loved it. I start my first WOD class tonight. Should be fun and intense. You follow any diet like Paleo or just eat clean and eat every couple hours?

I used to do paleo but it's kinda gross and hard to eat out. I eat 6 clean meals everyday and drink a protein shake or two. I'm trying to bulk up. You should start tracking your calories and getting in the habit of eating clean.

oh gosh my legs!!! I had a killer leg day on saturday and I can barely walk! I live on a 3rd story apartment and I may just sleep in the hummer for a few days... only it's a pain to get into also!

I work out occasionally not as much as I used to but always try to find time during the week. Picture is from last month. I am bit heavier now. I usually try to stay around 250. It's good to be in shape

I haven't been around in a while, but I've been lifting. I switched gyms to the YMCA and I'm trying to get my wife to do the Jaime Eason program. I started using creatine so I'm up some water weight but my gut is smaller, so I'll take it. I didn't make my 20 lbs by march 15th. I only dropped 2-3 lbs. Don't have a new goal date set. I did cut out Dr. Pepper and I haven't been eating out hardly at all, so that's helping a lot.

Anyone here still lifting? I made some more gains since last time. I guess that creatine works. I started pretty bad calf pain when I run so I haven't run in a while. I have been doing PNF stretches and I got some running shoes with more heel drop so hopefully I can start running again soon. April 22nd is 2 months from my b-day so I'm going to start running and cutting then, and by my b-day be down to 170-ish.
