I remember the "good ole days" on GMHummer.com. Spent some time on there in between Elcova and "the-forum-which-shall-not-be-named".

The GM Hummer forum is, in fact, gonzo.

this is the only hummer forum I need. it's all about off roading and no silly threads about "how do I change my oil?" or "which size dubs are best?"

I found hummerforums first, and was really unimpressed with how many "how to crank my torsion bars?" Threads there were. Basically I visited it once and then found H40 and never looked back.

I agree that Hummer4x4offroad.com is the best Forum online about Hummers but I like to visit the other Forums sometimes. Don't know why but I can't access Hummerforums.com

My only regularly visited forums right now:

rme4x4.com (Utah/Rocky Mountain states based off-road forum)
hummer4x4offroad.com
offroadfabnet.com (fabrication forum, but low traffic volume)
and occasionally pirate4x4 just to check up on the threads I have been subscribed to for years.

Way too many pop up ads on HF IMHO, only three active, non regional forums for offroad hummer groups/forums that I know of, one you have to pay membership for, the other two were birthed from the same original forum and split. Most other hummer forums that I follow do not appear to have active offroad communities.

I had no issues with HF, there were a few dicks on it but what forum doesn't have em..when H40 started most my SoCal peeps came here so of course I had to follow, wheeling by yourself isn't fun. All said and done this forum is awesome and we have a great bunch of people here.

This place is awesome...I've learned so much about my truck and wheeling in just a year and some months of being a member. It is indeed like nowhere else.

...oh, you really don't want to know and we have all moved on to our chosen HUMMER forums. I don't have any need or desire and it's not in my nature to look back and re-live the past. The present and future looks really good to me and this forum is thriving and alive and well while others are dying a slow and very painful death, as internet stats and numbers don't lie. We will be here until the last of our HUMMERs is put down to rest years from now, if ever.

I have enough spare parts that mine may be the last Hummers running. :)

I probably haven't caught up to you. But have a pretty good arsenal of spare parts built up. Only thing is, have had to use some recently lol
