Alpine Loop

So after picking up the H3's last time I was home and spending two weeks ordering parts I only had 5 days at home this trip so we decided to take my H3 up on the Alpine Loop from Ouray over Engineer Pass to Lake City and back the next day over Cinnamon Pass to Silverton then back home.

We live in Montrose so starting in Ouray is only about 27mi from the house. I know its not a real test of off road capability but the first four miles out of Ouray have a dozen or so rock areas to cross where it's only 8 to 10 ft wide and 500ft or more down so all the wife could tolerate as I try to acclimate her to wheeling.

You live in such a great part of the country! I love visiting Ouray and doing those trails.
