Amusing indeed. Not sure what he's trying to accomplish. All I know is my rig is unique, no one else has one that looks exactly like mine, oh and people do look at it and I like that....especially the ladies :D  (since I'm a young single man)

the only smart thing he says is how Hummer bears the brunt of SUV hatred. My old disco got 14 mpg on the highway and it took premium gas. it weighed less than an H3 and made a lot less power. of course, no one ever gave me a hard time or a second look about it. I get an H3 which uses less gas and it's more reliable and i've gotten harassed in traffic twice now. i even read an article where some environmentalists said they don't have a problem with land rovers because they are intended for off road use

????

the only conclusion is that there are a lot of stupid people out there.

i would also like to point out the stupidity of one of the commentors who said that H3 drivers are stupid because they wish they got an H2. ugh. oh well, at least i'm not the moron who posted that on the internet.

also, the author does drive a nissan cube. he's probably an idiot.

As with so many car blogs here is what he (in my ever so humble opinion) is trying to accomplish:

Get attention.

He's the author of a blog and he needs to get people to read his blog, otherwise there'd be no reason for it to exist. So, he tries to be funny and popular and he does so by pandering to a common sense of humor by picking on Hummers. I bet he's a *very* smart guy seeing how he figured all that out by himself, but who knows... maybe his mommy helped him.

I laugh at these people who think they know all about the Hummer Brand and it's anti-eviro status that some group of tree-huggers and leaf-lickers gave the Brand years ago and are still clueless..If my Hummer is thought of as a Status symbol then cool, I'll take the light...When I pass LR's and big P/U's and other FWDs stuck in 12" of snow and when I save a stranded motorist..I ask; 'What do you think of the Hummer now?'..

I hate the fact that my Hummer is getting old and will wear out someday..I ponder the idea of a similar kind of vehicle, but what? 'There is nothing else like it'

the guy blogs about a supercharged Cadillac wagon with an automatic, which is about as useless of a car as you can get.... oh yeah, and gets the same mpg on the highway as I do in the city with my alpha

my screenname there is prophet of hoon.... I didn't exactly take the comments in a calm, nice manner ;)

Haha, I saw your comment. I posted as well under 'SickStringC'. My comment is 'waiting for approval'. I made a jab at the writer with something to the effect of not taking seriously anyone that drives a Nissan Cube writing about others looking dumb in their fill in the blank.

Wow, reading that article and all of the replies was very much like watching a train wreck--I tried to stop looking, but I had to see how it turned out. Man, I feel much dumber for the time I spent reading that crap.

As I read I began to realize that I was getting nauseous and felt like I was stuck in a room full of mentally retarded people and I was smarter than all of their IQ's combined.
I could actually even imagine most of these ignoramuses drooling mindlessly as they put in their uneducated replies while they cheered and grunted and made poopy in their pants.
The mistake I almost made was to create a user id and post a reply--thank God I realized that one of those ignorant bastards needed to read and approve my post. I can imagine most of our responses will never see the light of day on that board.

What is awesome about this article is H2's have been out of production for what going on 5 years now. However these articles still come out on what seems like a regular basis. The way I look at it, the 2's are so badass everyone has to talk **** about them when honestly you'd think they would have disappeared into dust like all the other vehicles that haven't been produced for 5 years. They are pretty amazing vehicles to still cause all the hatred this far down the road.
