I just got this from Emily Miller, an Arkansan, if I had gotten this sooner that might have been fun to see all the prepped vehicles in person. It's a two day drive for me but maybe someday.

Isnt he running a stock steering rack? Stock tie rods?

I think hes running deavers, a one in body lift, 35s and some nice fox shocks correct?

That article read like he was running that blue one.
I'm not sure what "stock" means in this case, is what I meant by that. Have to find the rules.
A race awhile back they did have a steering rack failure.

If that blue one is stock, then I'm a Monkeys uncle.. Stock mini class????? I dont see how a Hummer could be considered Mini by anyone, unless you are comparing it to a Mercedes Unimog maybe...

BTW--wasn't Emily Miller involved in running some off road stuff of her own? Thought I read an article about her doing some kinda off road gig.

Yea I think that is what it means, not a tube chassis look alike. I do recall they posted something about limiting them on the amount of shock travel but I'm sure there are some other factors as compared to "unlimited" class.
I'm just going by the posted info and :shifty: meant yea, right.

When it comes to the baja 1000 there are several different classes to run in. The article stated stock which means just that the drivetrain can not be modified other then shocks. Their is a modified stock class also I grew up on that race and being from the SOCAL area that race is grown to levels no one thought possible back in the 90's it's also the only race I know of that with a proberly equiped vechile novice racers can run in.
