H3 '07 H3 Cranks but won't start

My '07 H3 all of a sudden won't start. She cranks when I turn the ignition, but no dice to get it running. I can hear the fuel pump humming when I turn the key, so I don't think it's the pump itself. I see a little padlock in the locked position over the red car symbol on the dash, but it's not flashing, it's solid red. Which suggests to me that it's not the security system....(I tried the whole lock my truck and wait ten minutes before trying to restart, with no success) I'm thinking possibly the fuel pump relay switch?? Any other suggestions while i wait for a ride to auto parts store would be appreciated....this just happened overnight. My truck was running beautifully all weekend.

No idea, but how did you get to the conclusion it could be fuel pump relay switch?

Any chance there's an aftermarket security system installed? I'd lean to a complete failure of the ignition switch vs. just a passlock issue. But that's just a guess.

With my 06 H3 aftermarket remote starter ruined the ignition switch.. I had all the symptoms you describe BUT the 10 minute restart always worked.

If the ten minute restart doesn't work you might try disconnecting the battery and see if the reset allows the truck to start.
