That's an awesome map. I really appreciate the effort. However, the cliffs insane terrain off-road park in Illinois has been closed down to 4x4 vehicles for a number of years now. Basically, what ended up happening the park went under new ownership, and the new owners received a grant from the...
Unfortunately, there is no quick and easy plug and play harness near the headliner for installation of the OEM Roof Marker Lights.
In the official instructions, how they have you do it is you have a positive and negative wire down the windshield, under the plastic A-pillar. From there, the...
Yeah, honestly as the years go on, I start to see less and less H1s come out. I am guessing part of the reason why is that the H1 is holding or appreciating in value, so people are scared to take it out and both OEM/aftermarket parts are getting harder to come by. It's becoming more of a...
Windrock 2024 with the Hummer Club! Another amazing fun trip. Made a full video of the weekend to recap the whole trip. I hope to see some of you H4O guys at a future event! Got a lot of SAS rigs to come out to this trip so it's definitely worth the watch.
Get the 16mm ones if you planning to go offroad. This is a really old thread. Hunner sold his H3 like 6 months ago. ATVSpeed is still around and they did end up developing aftermarket larger heavy duty tie rods. They own OutfitterDesign LLC but you never know if they are still selling anything...
The mm part they are talking is referring to the tie rod size thickness
For the 2006 Model Year GM did a 14mm tie rod size
For 2007-2010 GM updated the size to 16mm
That being said, both 14MM and 16mm will work on any model year. THAT BEING SAID, you have to have both the INNER and OUTER tie...
The problem is just because they have a photo of the H3 that they are parting out, doesn't mean they still have all the parts. In that first pic, there is snow on that H3 so that photo has to be like 6 months old. Most parts are gone by then. I contacted like 20-30 ebay sellers that were parting...
Nice find! A 2009-2010 with front and rear lockers is hard to come by. The front diff is definitely worth something if the guy is selling it cheap enough. If so, you could just put both diffs in there unless you are planning a D44 SAS soon.
Yes it is. So yes if you have an Alpha with factory gears you'll need to go 4.10. You can still use the locker if you change out the ring and pinion gear to a 4.10 ratio.
Update For WINDROCK 2024: Partnership With Wounded Warrior Project Canceled For Windrock 2024 Event
(The offroad club event is still happening though like normal)
Due to an unforeseen circumstance, the Wounded Warrior Project, adhering to their policy, must cancel their participation in the...
This one is actually in pretty good shape. You should see the other H3. Its in terrible condition. The thieves started dismantling it might need an entirely new body on it. I might post some pics if I get the okay to do so
The Hummer Club is partnering with the Wounded Warrior Project, and we need your help! This year, for its upcoming Windrock 2024 event, the club is looking to host Wounded Warrior Project service members and their families to ride along with the club as a way to get involved with the cause. In...
