Well end of February I have a job in Italy. If I can finish it in 4 weeks that only gives me a week to prepare for the trip. I hope that job will be done in 3 weeks. If it goes over they better have a back up plan.
Fluids need changed, tires need rotated, trailer frame needs repaired.
We are still coming, probably the ZR2 again. Broke the frame on the squareback camper. Got to get it welded back together to base camp again.
We will have a friend in a new Ford Bronco with us either for a few days or the week.
We are in. This was a fun trip. Loved Rattlesnake Gulch. Hopefully I can find a campsite in the same area next year.
After returning the ZR2 got a fresh set of KM3's installed and I just added the Garmin Tread overland 8" GPS. Already have birds eye view downloaded to the unit for Utah and...
I am working on the last few items on the camper. Will be loading up tomorrow and hopefully leaving Friday. First stop in New Mexico. May spend a week there on trails before finishing the trip to Sand Hallow.
If I am energetic tomorrow I will mount the new BFG KM3's. If not hopefully these...
We might be headed out on the 26th of March. May have 3 or 4 weeks out there. Who all is camping? We are bringing our 5x9 offroad camper to set up a base camp somewhere.
I will be driving the ZR2 out and bringing an overland trailer to camp someplace. The ZR2 is on 37's now. Colorado did not break anything on it last year. Requesting time off for it tomorrow.
We will also be doing a late July early August Colorado trip. FOR last 2 years we did 3 weeks in...
Nittos is one of the best tires out there. I have had Nitto Trail grapplers on my aH3 for over 10 years. I got 8 years and 50,000 miles out of the first set. They still had tread. The traction on slick rock in Moab was suffering at 6 years of age. Not one tire related problem.
I wanted to put...
If you could pull off a kit like the Marlin Crawler RCLA (Rock Crawling Long Arm) then the price likely won't matter. But a simply dropped crossmember 4" lift is a $2500 to $3000 investment.

I just started acquiring all the stuff to swap...
At $6500 I don't see you selling many 4" lift kits. A 4" BDS lift kit for a ZR2 is $2200. I think to make it practical you need to find a foundry to cast the knuckles. The machine time making a knuckle from a solid piece of steel it too expensive.
Or look towards Dirt King or Bajakits and come...
Well it will definitely spend most of its time on the streets. To me a trail rig would be tube frame buggy and towed to the trails. I don't plan to get as serious as Chris (Squeaky) is. I just have broke way too many dana 44's in my younger days to put one in a 5500 vehicle. Maybe you can get...
3 link brackets ordered, some from TMR customs, some Balistic fab. The rebuildable joints I wanted from Barnes 4wd are out of stock. Guess a place by St Louis keeps 12 and 14" King coil overs in stock. Have not even started looking at what spring rates I should start with.
Worse part is going...
Well brought it home today. TTR axle and fab retubed the 14 bolt. Time to start ordering brackets. The shop needs insulated and AC. So it will be fall before it gets started.
