4" Lift Help Needed!

I purchased an 08 H3 Alpha salvaged off the internet.

This gets better.

The photos looked good and I had a Colorado in 05 which was totaled. So, thinking I enjoyed that truck, and this was the same platform, I bid on my Hummer.

Long story short, I purchased this vehicle sight unseen. I figured I would need a hood, an aftermarket bumper, maybe some straightening, plus a few miscellaneous items (radiator, etc). That would leave enough money to stick a 6.0 in and rebuild the transmission from the get go.

So far, everything has been great! Frame looks really straight. Core support obviously had to be cut out and will be drilled out when I get to the body work to weld in the new. I have purchased the ARB front (no flares) and rear bumpers, found the nav radio buttons and ordered those.

This is where I need the help:

I have spent a lot of time on the hummer forums (relatively so for a newbie). I love the 4" Rancho lift. I love the builds shown on here (TAPDH3T). You are all likely aware that the 4" lifts are no longer produced (if you know of something else, please contact me). So, please log into RockAuto at this link
http://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/hummer,2008,h3,5.3l+v8,1441263,suspension,lift+kit,7549
and ask to be notified if they make the lift kit. You may have to click on the lift section and then the "notify me when available button". If everyone can take a few minutes and log in, maybe we can generate enough interest with a few phone calls to get some produced on a limited basis.

Maybe I am dreaming, but that is what this Hummer is- lots of good ideas and hopes and dreams!

Looking forward to this project and will post photos during the process! i will probably post this one other time in the forum and on another. Hopefully something good happens.

BTW- pulled the 5.3 and tranny yesterday and have the engine on the stand the the rebuild parts for the tranny coming in Monday.

Not shooting me down at all- I appreciate the input. Looks like you can still get most of the H3 lift for the Rancho via the colorado options but the knuckles look to be the hang up. My neighbor is a machinist who may have some insight on a few other items. Worth pursuing.

General consensus seemed to indicate the majority of the Rancho kit could be fabbed rather easily except for the steering knuckles.

I will be removing my Rancho once I finish acquiring the stock replacement parts for it. Shipping would probably be a killer because of the leafs.

Rancho is dead. The money you'll spend to fab knuckles and other parts you'll be passed what you would spend on an SAS.
