Frame side is just about done. I have to add a bumpstop mount, brake line tab, and linit strap mount and that's about it.

Then onto all of the little assembly and paint.

Ignore the sh*ty paint, I just sprayed some touch up paint on the cuts so they wouldn't rust, the liner will cover most of that anyway.

Posting thus here for future reference.
Here is a comparison of the h3 rear caliper to a 70s/80s k20/30 jb6 caliper.
There is roughly a 30mm difference between the two. These are the brakes that come in 14b disc brake swap kits. From what I've been told/heard anything bigger than this and you'll essentially have a squishy pedal due to the shear volume of fluid that needs to be moved.
I'm running stock front calipers as well. Same setup as 06h3.
Seems to stop just fine with the stock master/booster/etc.

Windrock was a success. Met up with the hummer club and some other buddies who have SAS h3ts and hit the trials. This was largely intended as a shakedown run after the build to see if anything was glaring wrong or if I F-ed up somewhere along the way. Well she passed with flying colors. Couple of sounds and tweaks I need to address but nothing major....yet.

We did just shy of 60 miles over 2 days through the park. Don't ask the trail numbers because I don't know lol

Before the rubicon I need to add the antiwrap bar and double check that everything is tight.
Steering does feel a little off, so I'm not sure if that's a pump or something else .

Knocked out a couple of small detail items.
Added a 4th leg to the rock road sliders, along with a gusset and gusseted one of the other legs.

I also picked up some spare rear axle shafts and mounted those with quick fists under my rear platform

Welp, made it through the rubicon. 3 solid days of driving from Indianapolis to get there and hit the trail. She made it through unscathed, minus the usual scrapes and bruises...I must have done something right during the build process. Massive thanks to 06h3 for guiding us through.
We had him, my SAS h3 and an ifs h3 with a lift all go through.

I several underestimated how relentless the trail is. And I know for you vets it's probably not, bit it kicked my a$$...but I'm ready to do it all over again.

We ran into WFO concepts doing a double recovery on a buggy and a jk.
06h3 had his food snatched by a bear.
I gave soup bowl a shot and failed.
also tried little sluice and failed.

Biggest takeaways as far as truck performance goes is....I need 40s and to shave the 14b. Both would have made my life 1000 times easier, I will have that done for the next time.

Here are some pics, in no particular order.

case anyone is curious, my "tow rig" aka daily driver is a 2015 gmc sierra with the 6.2 and max tow package. It's rated for 11k lbs towing. 17k max gcwr.
I stopped on the way home at a cat scale and here's the total weight.

And finally mileage. Indianapolis to tahoe and back, plus other bits in-between.

10.3, not too bad for a gas motor. I did get the brakes smokey coming down the 50 into reno, idk who thought it would be a good idea to put a stop light at the bottom of the hill, so dumb imo.
Trans hit 210 going up the grade from salt lake to park city. Otherwise she did fine, just slow on the up and downs.

Oh, AC decided to shred itself on the start of the trip home in nevada, so 90+ degree weather, no AC, 2k miles, was not fun.

I went an weighed the H3, fully loaded with all the gear from the rubicon minus some clothes and water with 1/3 tank of gas. I'm going to re-weigh when it's empty.
