Starting to see more and more in Orange County

I have seen a couple in the wild in Utah. We have 62 EV chargers at my work and my experience has been about the same as Alex. Teslas for days followed by Hyundais and Kia’s, a few Rivians, a couple F150 Lightning’s, Polestars, BMWs, a Volvo, and 1 Jeep but no Hummers at work yet.

What did you do with your H3 recently? NEW

Mine are the same H2s with puck spacers under the hood vent so it's a nice solid mount. I'm vertically challenged and the H3 is taller than it used to be. I use them to pull myself up to clean the windshield on a regular basis.

    H3 Vehicle Title Delay

I went through a title delay on one of my wife’s vehicles. The DMV was willing to issue an extension on the temporary plates.

Front anti-sway bar for SAS rigs…

Mine has the RJ 36”. I used the spline section from the kit and made an 1/2” arm curved to clear the pitman arm on left turns and slightly jogged out to clear the steering box. It gets full up travel to bottomed out bump stops and 6” droop for on-road use and swings out of the way for trails...

What did you do with your H3 recently? NEW

Yesterday, I was able to finish the A-pillar snorkel similar to ones I've seen for FJs that replaces the A-pillar trim. I originally wanted to finish it in a textured black powder coat to better match the factory trim but being my first aluminum project, I felt there were too many imperfections...

What did you do with your H3 recently? NEW

LED lights are Rough Country Black Edition 12" center and 6" outers. Could have gone 8" outers. I used a Millermatic 211 MIG with a Teflon liner, .035 4043 wire and .045 tips. I had to make a path to rout. Actually, didn't remove much metal from the upper rail. I'll post the installed piece...

What did you do with your H3 recently? NEW

Trying my hand at welding aluminum. A learning curve from mild steel. Almost finished with a snorkel that replaces the A pillar trim. Frenched in the roof marker light. I’ll spray it with bed liner from an hvlp gun to match the trim texture as close as possible.

I see them in the gallery tab. Such a sweet looking build. I’m guessing you get stopped everywhere you take it.

    Hand tools for the Hummer

I have a hard case and a bag with specialty tools similar to Chris but eventually going to tool rolls. A lot less bulk. I’m kinda in love with some of these now too (https://www-de.wera.de/en/), thanks Alrock. I’m going to be replacing some tools at work with some of these too.

H3 Hummer Hidden ARB Twin Compressor Prototype #1 Mount

I worried about it, but it hasn't failed me yet (two years ish). I run mine with the access panel off since my hose connection is in there too and it hasn't been an issue, so I guess I've been lucky. Upper 90s to 100°+ w/ 37s sometimes airing a second vehicle. knock on wood

H3 Hummer Hidden ARB Twin Compressor Prototype #1 Mount

Definitely would be jumping on this if I didn’t already have mine installed at the same location. Your install is a bit cleaner and less invasive than mine. It’s a great location that stays dry and relatively dust free. Much cooler than under the hood and it leaves plenty of room for the air...

    Hummer EV Fail

Did you see their video on how long it takes to get a full charge on 110? 4 DAYS! lol! My pockets aren't deep enough to justify buying one in the first place, let alone to upgrade infrastructure to my house for a realistic charge time. Still an amazing machine and cool to finally see them...

    Rock slider opinions needed.

I think I would go with a little less stick out, like 6"? Mine stick out about 4" and it works for me. Great for roof access and it definitely protects the doors and fenders from rocks and debris off the tires. +1 on the bracing.
