Local tire shop was able to patch the tire from last week. Truck drove great headed into work so I’ll just be packing up the remainder of the stuffs and head up to flag tonight. Then sandhallow Saturday mid to late afternoon. Should be out of flag around noon at the latest.

I have my electrical draws down to where I only need to drive the truck once or twice a week and itll be fine. Biggest one was physically disconnecting the onstar module and something else behind the radio. That alone took care of 80% of my draw issues.

As much as Id like to have this differential under the truck, I equally understand you guys wanting to keep it local.

Couple things getting ready for BSW in sandhallow. Flag came in and purchased some used 35’s as spares. Mounted on some spare h3 wheels. @cgalpha08 ’s gobi is putting in work. Glad he spec’d it out with the spare tire mount!

I found that preloaded maps using OnX and then using a Garmin satellite device for live location works the best. Then use the OnX gps as a reference. With cell phone providers moving into satellite functionability, wonder how long until that transitions to full time accurate phone gps.

I see Chris brought back this thread, and it resurrected some past thoughts. Wonder why a ls pump hasn't been retrofitted with a remote reservoir yet. Along with a 1 ton steering rack. And long travel suspension, and a 1 ton ifs front diff... That got expensive quick. But for what its worth...

X2, figure out how the axles will sit before committing to a wheel. I’d grab some cheapos for moving it around/fabricating. Then when you’re confident you know where it’s all going to end up, commit to a set of wheels.

Late in posting this, figured id pop it and share some photos from the Rubicon back in August 24' En route to tahoe, found a friend. Hugo's BBq and Mexican Food, had an excellent breakfast burrito. This 06' has been in a climate controlled garage since 05' and had 20k miles on it...

Seeing if anyone here has some old 17” wheels with a maximum 4.5” backspacing. They need to be comparable with the rancho. Checking here before I splurge on a set of beadlocks.

Saving up for an M&P 10mm for backpack fishing expeditions. Encountered too many bears on the rubicon, and also when I camped up in sequoia a couple days prior to it. Planning on a northern Idaho fly fishing trip that I’ll need protection for.
