Width?

I have the old style mirrors (which are 8" out and 3" folded in) so 86.5 + 6 is approx 92.5 wide. But if you have the Hummer Dan rockers...they stick out an extra inch on each side (at least the current ones do) so that would make the truck 94.5. Just shy of a city bus :)

I have posted that info before but it has been awhile. All my Hummers are out of state or at Tustin so I can't measure for you.

Thanks guys. My garage door is 95 inches wide so even if I folded the mirrors on the truck it won't fit.

I had measured mine before, but I can't remember the measurements. Old age I guess!

I have the same problem. My garage is two cars but tandem and the doorway is 95" as well. :banghead:

I do remember with the mirrors folded it would fit through, but there isn't any clearance so you better be able to thread the needle. If you can good luck trying to exit once your parked inside.

Mine definitely won't fit now though since I put the ladders on the sides to get up on the roof rack. Had to take them off the back so I could open the barn doors wide enough to be able to open my gun vault.

at one time I was looking into shipping my truck to Europe for a little cruising with a friend (still a dream trip). While investigating which method of shipping I realized that the cargo containers were only 91" wide, which would mean I would have to lose the mirrors and at least one rocker to have any breathing room at all if I wanted to ship via container.

The shipping guy suggested I "inhale" as I squeezed into the container, maybe you can try the same proven technique to get into your narrow garages?

It should fit with a few inches to spare. Most shipping containers have 7.5-8.1 feet width on the interior. It will be tight.
