I was there when GA was just starting to work on that..I was over in the EM rail building.

There's a group that's developing something along those lines but in the size of a compact SAW. Operator would then have a pack with ridiculous amount of ammo with a belt fed system. Each member of the team would have a pack, and when ammo runs out of one, the hook it into the next pack carrier and switch weapons. There would be two of these per fire team. They want it for building clearing.
