New toy. My EBCR (evil black cowboy rifle)

I finally was able to order a new toy and it arrived last Thursday. Tried it out today at the range. Its a Mossberg 464 SPX leveraction tactical 30-30. My new Zombie assault weapon. Has a sliding AR type stock with adjustable cheek piece, picatanny rails on foregrip , flashhider, hivis type sights and sling attach points. Got it from Davidsons in Arizona. Took delivery through an FFL here in Madison area. That Gallery of Guns web sight is a pretty good way to order a firearm on line. You pick a dealer near you that is set up with them to do transfers. A down payment on a credit card and pay balance to delivering dealer. And good price too. Already made up 200 rounds of 30-30 so I was ready when it came. Put 100 through it today and it worked flawlessly. It will make a good truck gun. I wish that my 3 had a good spot to mount one of those 3 gun metal gun racks that we used to put in the back windows of our pickups or side windows in a fullsize blazer or bronco. After they passed conceal carry here in Wiskonsin, you no longer have to case your long guns but they cannot be loaded. Open carry people can have their handguns in vehicle within reach loaded as long as they are visible. Cant be in storage compartment unless you have a conceal carry permit.

Well that is amazing! I had not seen that before. Wow is all I can say. I wonder if they have a .357 or 44Mag version. Not SASS legal at all, but very cool!

Not Alex. But bring it along. We have plenty of places to shoot out here on public lands. And a day of shooting would be great. I have a new rifle I need to shoot. By the time BS week gets here, I might actually have some ammo for it.:giggle:

Very nice evil black rifle lol, however for evil black rifles I prefer my Stag M4 carbine. I'm looking for an 1892 Winchester chambered preferably in 44-40 to go with Hoss my revolver, but I could settle for it in 44 mag. or 30-30. Kind of like this one.......

Thanks, but I have a few hundred rounds on order via Cabelas and when I ordered last week, they said most will ship in 2-3 weeks. Been too damn cold around here to worry about going out and shooting.

But bring some guns and we can go out and shoot that first day vs. going on a trial and getting in trouble.

Cabelas just notified my yesterday they are shipping some ammo. The projected dates they gave me for Herter's ammo was almost dead on. Hopefully the Winchester and Remington dates at the end of Feb will be as accurate.

Guess I could bring along something black to UT as well this spring!

Just got my ccw a few days ago, gonna have to make sure UT has reciprocity.
