Whats the build quality? Most times as soon as you get the item in your hand you can tell what you're dealing with---does the housing look cheesy or feel cheap? How is the bracketry?--though I have run across some items with crappy brackets but the item itself is done well. What is the wiring coming out of the unit like? This is easy to tell as the cheaper wiring is very flexy, but it prob wouldn't matter for an LED.
The prices on these are cheap enough that I'd order one of something just to see what it's like---it can always be concealed under the truck or behind a grill if nothing else.

well i have a pic on my profile of it behind my lower grill and mounterd it to my bumper. Its is well built in my opnion the brackets seemed strong and i had no problem mounting them. It is not as pretty looking as a rigid which is the only downfall in my opinon. you will have to purchase a switch and wiring cause it onky comes with about 2 feet of wiring.

I got a 55W Hi/Lo HID kit from them. The components appear to be well made. The ballasts are very solid and the connectors are weather proof ones. The bulbs that came with the kit were two different colors, and I had to send them back and they replaced them. I had to pay shipping for the return. And everything shipped directly from China, just FYI. The replacements match and so far they are working great.

I would say I am happy with the lights, but not so much with dealing with the company. They want you to do everything online, and if you have warranty issues they want you to sign up for an account, and then log in and submit a "ticket." Then when they reply to the ticket you have to log in on their site to read it. When I called to try and talk to a person I was put on hold and waited for over 5 minutes and then it just disconnected me. This happened threee times. Most times when they answered they would just say, "please hold!" CLICK! No chance to even speak, jusy an immediate hold.

At this time I would give the product I bought a 4 out of 5 stars, and the company a 2 out of 5. I think I am going to give them a second shot on a set of LED lights though, simply due to the price. We'll see.

I tried looking up reviews for the light bar and it seems people are really all over the place, specially with the product being new. I was also looking at Bulldog-lighting though, they seem to have better build quality and while they are still expensive seem to run 400-500 cheaper then rigid/vision x. It seems like a better alternative, and has more positive reviews online from what i've found. I do like the price of DDM, but like i said the reviews are all over the place, most of which people said they felt cheap. So i'm unsure how the larger 40-50" bars would holdup in an abusive environment
