As you go out this morning to enjoy the parades, and later the picnics and fireworks, be thankful for Stockton and the other 55 Signers of the Declaration of Independence. Many of them paid with their wealth, their freedom, their health, their families, and their lives for what we take for granted today. Remember also all who have paid dearly to preserve that freedom for us and others around the world.
