You paid attention to my other post about 1st aid kits, you've got your 1st aid kit in your car and....

You're driving down the road and out of the corner of your eye you see this guy flying through the air.

what do you do? try to answer in order of what you'd do. Best answers will come in a bit.... in this video there was a lot of good done, and a few things done that could use a bit of training to clean up.

So let's play a game where someone's life may be at risk....

(this is the 3rd time I try to post a response, stupid friggin' browser)

Thinking ahead and planning what you will want to do BEFORE you need to do it, is probably one of the best things we all can do. YEars ago, I attended a first aid class held by the American Red Cross, and they taught a principle of "Check, call, care". So, what I imagine I'll do is:

1: Check on the injured person(s). If there is more than one possibly injured person, I'll possibly have to prioritize a bit. Look for obvious things like, people trapped in burning cars, imminent drowning, etc. If I encounter more than on injured persons and one is screaming their head off while someone else is quiet, then I'll check on the quiet ones first to understand why they are quiet (are they obviously dead? Or obviously not injured?)

2: Call for help. The obvious first choice is my cell phone. I will want to make sure I can describe my location reasonably well. If I don't have access to a phone, then I'll use my HAM radio's (have this capability is both my cars). I know what frequencies I will want to use and that what I will want to say in order to attract attention

3: Provide whatever first aid I can, until first responders arrive.
