A 2006 Hummer H3 with 208,000 miles! I seriously didn't think this was possible. For the helluvit...I took 208,000 miles and divided it by 15mpg, then multiplied it by $3.50/gallon....just to get an idea of how much money had been ran thru the fuel tank. $48,533 Wow.

For $9800 its not that bad. I've seen totals go for more (then again most totals have less mileage). Considering I'm gonna cut the top off it, and install my own suspension... Hmmm...

Check Fort Wayne Craigslist. There have been sub $10K H3's on there. Not consistently, but I have seen a few.

Holy cow. I can remember gas for $1.99 maybe 3-4 years ago now. It was my sophomore year of college. I remember my buddy and I started cheering as we drove by the station in town after we saw it go sub-$2.

I might be showing my age here. I used to buy ethyl for my 63 Chevy back in high school. Leaded baby! 100 octane! 85 cents a gallon! I had a fast car, a sweet girl, a bag of ****, and some LedZep on the 8-track. That's all that mattered back then.
Jeez...how priorities change!:sigh:

4speed - I'm with you on the old price of gas -- don't know about the rest of it as I married my cousin, drove a slow truck, drank cheap beer & had the southern rock sound.

Nah...I'm holding out for the $3500 special. With the price of gas continually climbing, and the perception of Hummer continually falling...I figure that shouldn't take too long.
