I'm sure I'm not the only one but since I took my truck out for the first time a month ago or so, all I wanna do is go wheeling. I wanna sell all my other hobby stuff and stick that $$$ in my truck. Adventure package, rancho/soa...... I want it all!!! I've seen some of what my truck can do as it sits now so I can only imagine what it could do with the adv-pkg and a lift. I need to make as sign and go sit on the corner. "Will work for truck parts"! Lol

It does indeed become an addiction and you do get to the point where you are satisfied with the mods you have done to make your rig off toad capable, mainly protection mods, like UCP and sliders, and decide to start spending your money buying spare parts to stock up and replace the ones you break so you can keep wheeling. Example: I really don't wheel at night so I don't need the latest and greatest expensive LED lights but I do need spare CVs, transfer cases, water pumps, motor mounts, diffs, lockers, etc. so I will prioritize and buy the things I need vs. the things I want so that I can keep the T running, ready and off road capable for as long as I can. My thinking is, what good are those lights and other "bling" things if my rig is sitting on jack stands for a year because I can't afford to maintain and fix the things we know and will, eventually break.

Your truck looks great and climbed that rock ledge with out missing a beat. Warning----- don't take the daily driver out of your H3. The way it sits, you get to enjoy it everyday.

As soon as I get a place with a garage, I'll probably start hoarding parts too Luis... My plan is to keep this thing as a daily driver for the next few years til it's paid off. Then buy something else to drive every day and keep the truck for the adventures. It'll never be a trailer queen. I plan to drive it to and from wherever the adventure may be.

Most people wheel the first time and fall in love with it. Some get scared, get scared of scratching their truck or it just doesn't float their boat. You don't know until you try it.

Rsc told me the same thing when he went out with me for the first time.... I was a little nervous at first but that's why I got the truck. And starting modding it. I'm really happy with what I've done to the truck so far. It's all been working out really good off road. The 4:1 will help me save wear and tear by being able to crawl, up or down hill. The rear locker will help with traction too. The lift will keep me from banging the belly on stuff a little better. Oh crap..... I've already justified the reasoning. Now I gotta justify the cash leaving my bank account. Uh oh. Good thing I'm not married... Lol

If you pop the question, do it with style.

I wheel once every other week on a yearly average, and love it! It keeps pushing me on making my truck more capable. With the type of wheeling I do, my truck is perfect (just wish that whenever I damage a part, there would be an upgraded one for me to swap)

But still will mod up whenever I get the chance!!!

I've been there with my old lifted liberty. Had to call a buddy to come get us. Luckily he wasn't doing anything. A winch would've been worth it's weight in gold that day.
