They weld the holes up and redrill. If i recall 1-2 holes line up or are close.
The other option is new hubs like the ones solid sells or you could use 8 lug hubs on the front axle to match a 14bolt rear. Downside is you"ll need new rims.

Tip to save a few bucks. go to the local self serve auto wrecker and pick up some front shafts off any chevy 1500-3500 chevy truck,suburban or tahoe. Grab the nuts and and washers or buy the cheapest one you can at your favorite parts store.

I’m with Doc on this one.It’s a common issue I’ve repaired several Ls motor exhaust leaks including the aluminum 5.3 that you have. Never came across one that would not seal!!
I highly recommend that you buy ARP bolts for the replacement. Last time they will ever break. This is the part number...
The wires are there. Not plug and play.You’ll have to cut the plug off the controller pig tail and splice them together . Right above your foot when it’s on the gas pedal there’s a light above your shin. They are tucked up in that area.
Same on our 2006 H3 as was the 2009 H3t.
