Yes it will. Make sure the button returns to normal position. It also could the switch sticking that the button pushes I no longer remember what the internals of that switch look like. I'm also saying that's one possible problem. Especially after driving in desert dust.

Have you removed the vanity bulb you installed? Just because a bulb is new does not mean it's good.

Has the engine cranked since the install? Make sure battery is good and fully charged. Also check battery connections. You may want to ask this question in the H3 section. Also give new engine details like where it came out of and milage when pulled

I still miss my H3 after 5 years. Don't miss the anorexic motor. my Silverado 5.3 or better yet the 6.2 would have done well in the H3.

Interesting. I got the Range AFM disabler when number 4 the vacuum pump failed and was anticipating eliminating that. When I tried the disabler, I didn't notice any difference in power or how the engine runs.
