2 things, 1) Its always interesting to see that the army vehicles use independent suspensions and 2) I have heard of so many vehicles being "the replacement" yet we still dont have one. They have been saying it for years...I wonder if this one will be the next or if its one of those cool trucks that never goes into the army.
these companies make some really nice stuff but think about how everything has to be changed (training, parts) to replace the hummer which has surplus stuff and its not much better, yea its probably better but not leaps and bounds better to be cost efficient to replace what we have and the stuff we got works good.
Given our current President's penchant for killing off new weapons and equipemnt systems and the ongoing budget issues I bet we see a lot of HUMVEE restoration and not so much new equipment for the next few years.
