Ya I am really curoius to see how much better the SAS is when wheeling. Lol the stock would need a lot of skid protection!
Yeah most definitely well at least the oem plates and rock sliders...the Rancho would too...I'm not running skid plates right now...I have the oem t case plate but haven't install it...yet I have no need it since I seat so high.

My mate hooked me up with his old set of 40"s so I went ahead and test fitted them, to see what thickness of wheel adapters I will have to order in orde to run them...I sure as hell love the stand height and width the new set of chanclas provides on Panzer. Now just need to order some motorsports wheel adapters and we should be set...lastly the rearview window is about as useless as a second coat of paint. I have a back up camera but thinking on investing on a review camera set up that records both front and rear. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CMK74JJ/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_7uvPBbZYSMCW5

Great minds think alike. I was looking at that same exact setup. Since 38in tire would not fit on my tailgate the regular way, I have it resting on the top to lugs only. This boosts it up more so it doesn't hit the bumper which is good, but it blocks my window as well. Not really sure where to put it though. Anyway near the bumper is a no go, because it will get covered it mud. Not a fan of putting in the center of the wheel bore, but that might be the best spot so I don't see any tire in the picture.

Got some better shots this morning when i mall crawl to get some green paint spray cans to paint over the chrome rims.
Also 1st test drive was great...definitely take just a lil more pressure on the break pedal to stop...but the ebc rotors and pads do a great job at breaking panzer...acceleration is about the same that with 35"s speedometer is about 4 miles off, I still need to send my pcm to get reprogrammed for the new wheel size and axle gears which should happen shortly.
But 1st I want to get a feel for the 40"s overall and asses if I'm staying with 40"s or just be ballsy and go 42"s FTW...lol

Well seems like I havent update my build for quite a while panzer still here and recently have gone through some minor upgrades front ox locker, rcv shaft, 2" longer front socks, new rear left springs, and 42" tires. Panzer's rear end is pretty much done some minor timing on the upper rear fender to better accommodate the 42" but other than that it is all set. As for the front I installed the ox locker however I didnt like how the backlash feel so I'm gonna have a professional shop take a look at it and reinstall it for me since a good chunk of pocket change has gone in parts.20200513_134246.jpg20200513_150237.jpg20200516_160429.jpg20200721_170400.jpg20200722_141605.jpg

No, not really. I call my h2 a monster truck because it’s on 40s and so my 2 year old has developed an obsession with real monster trucks and talks about them constantly. But I DD an older bmw so I don’t even drive the hummer much.

Slow progress is better than no progress...a measurement here a measurement there...a possible trimming here a possible trimming there...hoping to have everything dial in and assembled by the end of the month.IMG_20200728_191424_319.jpgIMG_20200728_191424_317.jpg20200728_181647.jpgIMG_20200728_191424_318.jpg
