So it needs to be the Volant air box that accommodates its own round style filter and has its own inlet tube.I was under the impression air doc let's you use a round style filter at end of its tube somehow inside stock air box. But maybe not...Does everyone with air doc use a stock panel or k&n panel filter with it? They also seem tho make this g2 filter in panels style, wonder if they have the size we need. I think ultimate , for looks performance and function(mostly for dust not deep water crossings) would be air doc, stock air box, high flow filter, shorty round snorkel extension with a sy clone Donaldson pre filter, routed to stock air box.

No matter what your setup is Donaldson should have a size that you can find. Donaldson does make a filter for the volant but I thought it was kinda short so I dug around until I found one that was slightly longer and filled up the box more. The one I got fits a Ford truck intake by volant, I just looked up what I needed by size not application. If you get a airdoc (which I highly suggest) and you got a panel filter just measure the size, make sure to measure where the seal is in relationship to the top and bottom fins of the stock filter. That way it won't stick up too high or hang to low in the box. I say you have to measure it because I assume that Donaldson don't list a filter for a H3 but maybe they do.
