Any more pics or info on how the fenderwell bars attach? I am very curious about those!

How do you like the FZJ80? There are a couple for sale local, and I kinda want to build one as a trail only truck.

I really like the 80.It's a roomy fun truck with alot of creature comforts.If i was going to build a trail only vehicle it would be a buggy or another toyota pickup/4runner.
I'm at the point that i wanted an all around vehicle.One that i could comfortably drive across the country and wheel all week and drive back home.My 4runner was a blast and i would take it on any trail but i would not drive it more than a couple of hours to get there:whaa:
If all goes well i will drive the 80 to Moab in a few weeks.

They connect to the sliders with the same type of connectors and with a bolt from underneath the bumpers

We had about two years to plan this build and we jumped in with both feet.I have alot of little things to do before Moab but i will easily make it.
The plan is to drive both trucks out for Black Sheep week in few weeks:gaah:
