This recent purchase showed up in our driveway yesterday... (My soon to be Sister-In-Law's car) Needs a little R & R and TLC here and there (which is why they want me to look it over and tinker with it :giggle:) but it still runs and drives good, has a fairly clean interior as well as working 4x4. 1998 Chevy Blazer with about 175,000 miles on it. Purchased for $2500.00. Gets new tires tomorrow, (235/75/15 Pathfinder Sport S A/T) Current ones are dry rotted and cracked to hell and one has a nasty leak in it... "Rusty But Trusty"

Haha I wish... She won't let me, claims that it's just tall enough for her to get into now... (VERY short girl...) Nah unfortunately she just wants me to take care of it and help keep it running... but already told her that it will be getting some undercoating put on the frame as well as some Brown Monstaliner bed liner along the rockers and the rear bumper soo I guess I do get to do something big-ish. :sigh:

I have owned 3 of those blazers over the years, bought all of them used. the 3.8 v6 is a great little motor. And for the most part there easy to work on and parts cost is not bad.

Yep... always heard that the 4.3's were bullet proof little engines, not very fast but can take ALOT of abuse... my first vehicle was going to be a ZR2 S10/Sonoma if I hadn't gotten an 82' Ford Bronco with 35's... But she's driving it around for the next few days and if anything feels off she's gunna report it to me for help... Had brand new Pathfinder Sport S AT's put on it yesterday which make it look a little better... And should help this winter as well...
