Fri will be snowing in Big Bear. I am going to Crestline Wednesday night and staying till Sat. It looks like ~15 mil to trailhead from there. So if it rains in cleghorn we can do John Bull.

Currently the weather reports are showing 20% chance of rain at Silverwood Lake on Friday at weather.com :link: and 0% chance at google.com.

I wouldn't mind selecting a good safe and sane alternate for 2N17x encase it rains, but John Bull isn't safe or sane without snow and I think it would be totally insane with snow. Looks like you'll be doing it alone Serge.

Don't look like I'll be able to make it, as I'll be in Moro Bay having Thanksgiving with my Mom and Sister. I couldn't get Tustin Hummer to replace the battery cables anyway on the H1, as they were to busy. Must have been working on Laguna H1's all week. Mike was going to call if he had the time. Then I could have made some kind of excuse to the family. Cause I'd rather be practicing bugging out in any conditions.

Unfortunately, I am officially out. Think I finally got the truck worthy to wheel. Been way too long since I've been out. But too much going on at work, end of month and a meeting I was told I can't miss.

Just got home from Thanksgiving dinner. Too late to start packing tonight. I'll have to get up early and pack then. I plan to be there between 9:00 and 9:30 to mount my rock rings.

Aw, you're kidding me. Just saw this. Checked this (I guess yesterday at this point) morning before festivities and saw nothing, so we made plans and stayed up late. We won't make it.:sigh:

Crap, just started pouring at my house. I am heading out now (stopping for coffee and ice first). We will still meet at the trailhead. I believe everyone has my number. I will occasionaly check the site if not.

Well crap.....I'm out....the wife and kid are sick and I'm feeling as tho something aint quite right myself....Tryptophan OD maybee...lol...this sucks..was really looking forward to the trip...next one I guess...have fun everyone...stay safe..
