Not just yet I'm waiting for the sun to come up and start working on the T, but a few things that started to click for me about this just. There are 3 wires the links to the switch RED 12V source for the switch, WHITE for the front light bar and YELLOW for the rear. The stock didn't have a ground to it!!!!! All this time I've been thinking that white was ground... don't we all know that black is always damn ground????? So a few things I have to get done and my lights will be working better then ever, first is make 1 power wire for each relay then the way I have it set up with at the end it splits into a Y. Doing this will mean that I can now turn on my rear light with out having the front on and also less power draw from one wire. Next tie up the wire work to the switch and everything should be good to go!!!!! Wish me luck.

Well the good news harness is 110% working great and now both relays has its own main power wire and not one that splits into two.... bad new is now I'm burning out my 10Amp switches and don't know what to do now :gaah:. I swear I can't get my damn front end at 23.5" and can't get my damn lights working.... I need to go to the F*&^%$ range and shoot some S^%&.

I'm electrically inept so I can help here. I do know that going to the range helps. Especially when I go with the M95.

.50 sniper rifle right???? Now if I had that I would cream fill my pants every time I would pull that trigger!!!! What I really want to fire off is a Saiga 12 gauge boom stick with a 50 round drum. Looking high and low for a good priced one but I can only find them for over $600.

Just get an 870 with an X-Rail. I have that setup and it rocks. Much more reliable and easy to work on.

so why am I burning my 10amp switches?

You shouldn't need 10 amp switches unless you're bypassing the relays (which you said you aren't doing). Really you could probably be using a 3 amp switch and be fine as the relay is supposed to handle the amp load, not the switch.

I would check your wiring at the relay (again) to make sure the terminals are wired to match the diagram from a few posts ago. Also, I would make sure you have a good ground on that switch. Put a meter on the switch to the ground spot and make sure you have continuity. What circuit did you tap into for power to the switch?

Out of the factory harness the was 3 wire for the switch, red power, white front bar and yellow rear light bar..... S*(^&^ when I turn them on with my last switch they didn't have a ground to them.... what an A^%&. OK I need to pick up just a few more things and I hope to have them up and running by today, Alrock and you all have been a big help thank you all!!!!:thumbs: Just one more thing now the the relays have their own power wire I shouldn't have to have the front lights on to turn on the rears right?

You know my right arm is starting to get tried with all the times I raised up my red solo cup to you guys for helping me!!!!! Everything is working 110% right and now I'm able to turn on my rear lights without having the front on.

Glad you got it all worked out. Like Recon said, this is all a great learning experience. I don't know much about electricity and wiring but having done my own lights I figured out a thing or two.

Thank you much with some taxs cash I'm going to pick up 2 hummer roof bars and a diff cover and try to get the trans UCP because ReconH3 hooked me up with the transfer case UCP. Also I'm still flip flop over the sung top:roll:.

Snugtop is nice but crazy expensive. I would first get stuff that will make your rig more reliable and better for offroading.

So I just brunt out my light switches and now everything is 10G, I thought I might be able to get away with leaving the switch load and power with the stock wire but it didn't work out. Also I'm not liking the light switches that I have and I cam across this little guy that I liked. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001GH1P3W/ref=ox_sc_act_image_4?ie=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER and I would like to self tap screw them into the plate in the area

Anywhere I can find switches that will say off lights or something so I know what every switch controls?

Thank you much, I'm having a little bit of a hard time understanding the rear pins, all I need is the 12v power wire, load wire and a ground wire to trun on the light on the switch to show the light is on. Is this what I'm looking for?

I believe the extra wire (and maybe extra ground) is generally for the light in the switch that would always be on or would be tied to your dash lights. You have to decide whether you want switches that might always be lighted and not just when they are on.

OK so this is where I'm at right now, I finally gave the power wire to the switches their own power wire from the fuse and both my switches are still working. Front light bar is brighter now because it doesn't have to share the power and now I shouldn't burn anything else!!!!
