Wow it looks great Al! I asked if the tires were done at 4WP because I saw a picture of your H3 was posted by a 4WP employe the other day.

Al. let us know once you get it on the trail if there are any rubbing issues. Looks awfully tight, great but tight.

Will do. The only rubbing there was, was a full flex. The axle wasn't centered in the wheel well so once I get it centered it should be GTG. If there is still any rub, then it will be very minor and against the steel ARB bumper, so I'm not concerned.

Latest update. The guys at East Coast Gear Supply have had the truck for three days. First swapping the steering ball joints to some ProSteer ones. The original ones were starting to get loose and these are supposed to be bombproof! Diff oil was changed since I had the R&P swapped out about 700 miles earlier. Rear brake hose was also swapped for a longer one. The one that was on there was really a little too tight and I didn't want to risk anything. The biggest thing they did was adjust all the control arms. One to center the 40s in the wheel well, and second to square both axles. Now they're both pointing in the same direction. The rear axle was pushed slightly more back than center. This was done to completely clear the plastic fenders pieces in the front portion. Like this, it's only rubbing on the rear ARB bumper. Next step is to remove rear ARB and move it slightly backwards. When this gets done, there will be zero rubbing. Here's a pic ECGS put on their Facebook page when they were adjusting the control arms and checking.

I asked them why they didn't ramp it more since it can do 1100? They said they were scared to roll it. THANKS ECGS!

I've also had a bunch of parts color matched. Some I've been collecting over the years and some I got recently.

I had my Rigid Industries Duallys done since the black stuck out like a sore thumb.

I did the surround for the gauges done to see how it came out. I will do the shifter surround and center dash next.

Thanks to 3hummers I got this H2 spare tire license plate holder that I'm going to adapt for my truck. The other set of Duallys are for the front new brush guard I just got. These Duallys are special infrared ones for blackout driving at night. You need NVGs to see them.

There are more goodies, like the new brush guard and MFC carrier, but I'll show them when they're installed.

Dude...Your truck is so badass!

Question for you. How does it ride? Especially with the 40s? I know back in the day I assumed it was a solid axle and rode like **** but I didnt know much about suspensions back then. Seeing you are running coilovers with some pretty soft spring rates (IIRC) it probably rides pretty nice right?

06 H3 it rides good with the 40s. They are actually better made than the 37s were. The 37s were always wobbling around. Obviously the COG is higher so you have to be more careful when cornering. I was a bit scared with jumping up to 40s but now I'm extremely happy.

Got my Predator HD brush guard installed as well as the IR Duallys. All color matched. I'm going to move the winch hook anchor point because it's a bit tight in there. Now to wire the lights and test them with the PVS-14.

Now that I have the HD brush guard I can do the limb risers and the fender tubes.

That would be the easy solution, but I already have to much stuff impeding airflow to the radiator. There are plenty of other holes to attach the anchor point that are out of the way.

Liking it a lot. I like the slealthy back-up lights tucked by the tire. Personally I would dress up some the accessories in a flat black or grey, like the BG, hood handles, but having said that... I love it

AWESOME RIG!!! ....although driving with night vision (as you know) is kinda hairy. I have seen many a soldier fail the HMMWV night vision driving course, sometimes with really funny results like puking on the dash and running into giant objects like trees etc...LOL. That said I love scaring the **** out of my buddys as we fly up the river in my jet boat in the middle of the night with me using nothing but my 14's. This is easily my personal favorite rig of any make model or brand. When are you going to intstall the turret ring to complete the look?

Thanks. I actually have quite a lot of experience with the 14 so it won't be a problem. I have to find a way to blackout the brake lights. Just a matter of figuring the wiring and installing a switch and resistors. No plans for turret. Too easy to have leaks when it rains. I will be placing IFF IR beacons in the place of the roof markers. I already have a large IR reflector for the roof that has the letters US in the middle.
