Greetings all! I am tractordoll aka Angela, aka NEFirewood on other internet forums. I think it's high time to re-introduce myself 
I have a 2005 HUMMER H2 SUV and a 2010 HUMMER H3T Adventure as well as a 2009 Jeep Wrangler JK, amongst some other toys as well, which I will get to. I live up in them thar hills in western mass, near the berkshires, a mere few minutes from my house. I have had my H2 for I think about 5 years now. Needless to say I have done some wrenching on the truck since then
I've been a fan of HUMMER for longer than I have owned my truck and always wanted one. I'm a busy gal and keep myself occupied with many interests which include motorcycling (I ride a Kawasaki Ninja ZX6 and my daughter rides a Suzuki GSXR750), scooters (just for grins, it's the best fun you can have for a dollars worth of gas on a sunny day), a boat (glastron 17' run about I bought this past summer) and an RV (which sadly stays close to home most of the time). I get out and do the Hummer thing when I can which usually means I get to maybe 1 or 2 events a year.
I chose a name of nefirewood from a forum I belong to for hobby farmers, an interest of mine. I used it because I was afraid that I would have gotten no advice if everyone knew I was a female, and considering that most of the hummer group consists of guys, I figured I wasn't going to get vert far. Of course now the cat is out of the bag. By the way I have a friend who owns a tree service and "donates" wood he cannot handle. So I get to heat my house (2 wood stoves) for free in the winter. I am running at around 15-20 cords right now on my lot wiht about 5 cords waiting to be split. So yeah firewood is still appropriate
Tractordoll is more appropriate matching the 2 tractors that I own to maintain my land. To be honest I love driving around on tractors almost as much and sometimes more so than riding in the H2 In fact I call it tractor therapy. Nothing like mowing a big field with nothing but the tractor and myself and the smell of diesel exhaust
I am a well educated person with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. I have always had a fascination with how things work, and I still do. That helps to explain why I like working on my trucks and am not afraid to get my hands dirty. I do know my limits though and would always stop short of something I feel uncomfortable doing.
When I am not outdoors, I am indoors, either working or watching movies such as netflix streaming or playing test drive unlimited on XBOX. If anyone has it then I have a Hummer club in the game, considering that the H3 is one of the cars you can own in the game. I've heard rumors that they are going to be adding the H1 and h2 to the game in the near future, but if that happens i would let others know (after I buy up all the really cool Hummers). I know nice eh? I would donate the trucks to the club.
I love old black and white sci-fi movies and the old creature features from the 50's. I like to do a lot of different things so I am frequently busy. I don't get to offroad as much as I want to, but I'll take what I can get. I went to the Sunday River event in Maine in June and it was a blast.
