Oil leak by air intake manifold

Noticed a fair amount of oil under the hummer and followed it up the driver side and has me a little stumped. It seems to start on the drivers side where their looks like the 2 gas lines cone up (one is the gas line and the other ends with a green plug maybe for a gas testing line) but where the gas lines are clipped and screwed in to the black manifold air intake has oil in the clip and the 2nd clip below that has oil also and from there down you can see a fair amount of wet oil. Is there a way for the oil to come out through that air intake manifold where the screw holds the clip.

Any thoughts would be great, I'm kinda stumped on this one

Assuming you have a stock intake. Air can get into the airbox via the breather/pcv valve in the valve cover. It's not exactly a pcv, but close enough. I've poured 3-4 ounces out of one of those convoluted air boxes on top of the engine.

Aside from it getting in there in the first place, the short hose to the air box can become disconnected or rot away. This is my story for an I5, can't speak to the Alphas.

Oil pressure sending unit??? They leak sometimes when going bad. It’s on th back drivers side of the manifold area

Yes, When you remove and replaced that black air manifold box on top on the engine, Did you make sure that rubber hose connected in between the manifold and engine is secured? Did you make sure no cracks on the manifold box or sometimes you will see a oil seepage on the split area (friction weld) of the manifold boxthat happened to once . I keep noticing a leak on my engine , followed and trace it and found it on that area. I even thought that was coming from the valve cover or the cylinder head on my 2006 Hummer H3.

I never replaced the air intake manifold but I guess that could be the culprit. II just have a hard time thinking how a PCV hose that goes to an air intake has anything to do with a oil. But I did notice also the batter has what looks like spray on the 2 sides of it but nothing on the hood.
