Just returned on Sunday from our trip to Gatlinburg, TN. and the MTRs were great over 650 miles each direction and road noise was not very noticable. I ended up dropping them down to around 38 psi and that seems to be the best balance between ride quality for me and it does not appear to cause an excessive wear in the middle of the tread. Defiunately happy with these tires. I didn't have a chance to try them on anything more than a few back country forest service roads in the Smokey Mountain National Forest. Here is a pic at the cabin.

Looks really good. I can't wait to hear how they do for you off road. As much as I love my STTs, I am really intrigued by those tires. I am probably going to have to try some some day. Can anyone compare road noise between the them and the Cooper STT?

My guess is they are probably slightly louder than the Coopers. I have never run the Coopers, this is simply based on the fact that the outer lugs on these MTRs are massive. They are slightly louder than my old Trxus M/Ts but not by much, but road noise is not that noticable with the magnaflow exhaust I have. The ride is extremely good and very smooth on these tires so much better than the Trxus M/Ts.
