New Forum, New Name, Great Expectations

Hey all!

I am the proud owner of an '09 H3T Alpha. Some of you may not recognize the username...that is because I used to go by Hummer Aficionado_VT. (I registered that name as well, but I'm partial to the new one for now.)

I can't say how glad I am that we have a brand new forum to grow here. I am looking forward to seeing familiar "faces" and continuing the sense of community we HUMMER buffs have. Let's make this the best forum around!

Edit to add: I can't believe I forgot to post photos...what a newb!! I would consider myself a novice wheeler. I never had an interest in the sport until a few years ago when I started hanging around with the Blacksheep on another forum. That is when I started to learn about what a Hummer could really do. Well, I've been hooked since then. Go figure!

This was some private land in Southern Vermont/Northern Mass that I ran with a Jeep club. As you can see, the trails are a bit narrower up here...

This was my first wheeling trip -- bogging a bit at Wharton State Park in NJ.

More fun at RC...

So yeah! I'm hoping to get some more wheeling photos this fall. I don't have much of a group to run with anymore, so it might be a bit more difficult. C'est la vie!

Hans you will do an excellent job putting together an RC event. Wish you could come out to Moab in October. A week with us and you wouldn't be running greens and blues anymore.
